Có 3 cách phát âm đuôi -ed của động từ có quy tắc ở thì quá khứ: /d/, /t/, /ɪd/

/d/ sau các phụ âm hữu thanh (voiced consonants): /b/, /g/, /m/, /n/, /l/, /v/, /z/, /ð/, /ʒ/, /ʤ/, /ŋ/ và các nguyên âm a, e, o, i, u
